As part of my new podcast season, TAROT 2021, I’ve been pulling a card for each week of the new year.

The tarot is a way of understanding what is happening in our physical and metaphysical world, but it is important to remember that the foundation of the tarot deck is always LOVE.

This week’s card is Temperance. Here are some basics:

  1. In the Tarot, Temperance speaks to the opposing forces within the self–our duality. The card itself has a meaning of bringing opposing forces together.
  2. The Biblical meaning of the word, “temperance” is “empowered by spirit.” Temperance gives you the ability to make better choices that are in your highest and best good and the highest and best good of others.
  3. The imagery in this card features the angel Uriel, a seraphim who delivers your messages to God. Uriel’s appearance here is significant because Uriel reminds us not to stray into temptation and thus throw our lives out of balance.
  4. On the card, Uriel is pouring water from two pitchers–the one in the left hand is pouring water into the one in the right hand. This indicates the inspiration you receive, which you then give back to the world. This exchange creates balance.
  5. This card, if it appears in your reading, also indicates that you are at the place in your journey where you have learned what you need to know and now you are being told to share that with the world.

You may be new to Tarot—It is really important to be doing your own spiritual, mental, emotional and physical development in order to be clear enough to pull cards that give you good intuitive guidance. This is the same with all intuitive tools.

When I pull tarot cards, I am actively using a pendulum and my own intuition in order to know what the right card is for the questioner, even if the questioner is myself. If you need guidance with Tarot, or if you would like me to do a personal reading for you, please schedule a session.

I follow your Podcasts, and enjoy them all. Your new topic is Tarot cards. I am looking for information about the name and creator’s name of the Tarot card deck you use – there are so many out there!
Did you say it is the Rider Tarot Deck? by Arthur Edward Waite? Thank you
